Breaking Free Online

Message from Breaking Free:
Given the increasing threat of community transmission of coronavirus and the likelihood of the Government and Public Health England needing to step up the restrictions they impose to combat this, we are aware of growing concern among service users about their ability to access services in the coming weeks.
We have therefore taken the decision to make Breaking Free Online available free of charge to the service users of all organisations that are members of Collective Voice and the NHS Substance Misuse Provider Alliance, initially until April 30th.
Next week, we are planning to contact each organisation individually to offer a generic access code that can be distributed to all your service users; but please feel free to contact us directly if you would like to accelerate this process.
Any service user who uses this code to create a Breaking Free Online account before midnight on April 30th will then be able to access the programme for up to a year.
If the need for social distancing and/or self-isolation continues beyond the end of April, we are intending to extend this initiative to ensure that service users will still be able to access recovery support, regardless of the extent of disruption to alcohol and drug services.

Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to those organisations that have commissioned Breaking Free Online for their support with this initiative.
