ACTION FOR CHILDREN SCOTLAND GAEL OG SERVICES
Action for Children Scotland's Gael Og services (Gael Og is gaelic for 'Young Highlander'), provides a wide range of support services for children, young people and adults in the Highlands such as -
- Positive Options
- Mentoring
- Fostering
- Probation
- Intensive Monitoring Service (ISMS)
Gael Og Advice Service
This informal advice service gives information and advice about substance-related issues to 12-17 yr olds, their parents/carers and social care professionals in Highland. Outreach information and advice services are delivered in locations across the North of Scotland.

Information service to young carers whose lives are affected by having to care for someone in the family with a physical or mental illness, disability or drug or alcohol problems.

BARNARDO'S
The Barnardos Springboard Service offers throughcare and after care support to young people aged from 15 to 20 years of age who are, or have been looked after by the Highland Council. Their service covers the whole of the Highland Council area. The main Springboard office base is in Inverness and there are project workers based in Fort William and Wick.

Supported Lodgings Service - Supported Lodgings is shared accommodation where the landlord/lady (known as Supported Lodgings Provider) providers a Young Person (Lodger) with practical and emotional support with a view to increasing their confidence and readiness to move into their own home.

THE CALMAN TRUST
Through support, training opportunities for young people (16-25) who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, to enable them to achieve a sustainable lifestyle and to contribute positively to the life of their community. Covering Easter Ross and Inverness.
