WheelNess is a new project that is designed to improve people’s transport options and health through free, supported access to bikes in Inverness.
They have a large number of individually suitable bikes to match to participants; and rather a short timescale, so are very keen for referrals. It is best that people come with a referral from a supporting agency, as this already links them in to the kind of extra support that will enable them to get the most form the opportunity; but self-referrals are also considered.
New participants will have a conversation with the scheme facilitators (Brendan and Fiona), who will help them decide if it’s for them, what kind of bike to choose, and what support will help them to get going confidently - Click here for more information
