SMART Recovery at HMP Inverness
Posted on
Once again HMP Inverness is leading the way in SMART Recovery by hosting SMART Peer Facilitator face to face training sessions. A training event held in February 2017 at HMP Inverness saw 8 prisoners trained alongside 14 participants from across Highland to become SMART Peer facilitators. All who attended the training sessions were successful in passing their assessments and are looking forward to becoming active SMART Peer facilitators in the near future. We wish to thank them all for their commitment and efforts throughout this training.
Thanks also to Trish Allen (National Co-ordinator, SMART Scotland) and Frank Brodde (National Co-ordinator, SMART Denmark) for delivering the training. For full details please see this short press release.
