HADP Development Manager:
Kirstin joined the ADP as the Development Manager in 2024. Her role involves establishing a wide communication plan to ensure effective dissemination of information to stakeholders as well as engaging with service users, carers, families, communities and locality forums. The role includes identifying the learning and development needs of staff and the development and implementation of training programmes. Sharon project manages initiatives on behalf of HADP i.e. awareness raising campaigns, service development projects, community consultations etc as well as the rolling out of the SMART mutual aid programme. HADP is linked to a series of local area Drug & Alcohol Forums which Sharon is responsible for supporting. The Forums include wide ranging membership from statutory and voluntary agencies, wider community interest groups, service users, carers and people with experience of recovery. Forum Chairs (nominated representatives) have regular exchange meetings and produce annual action plans that contribute to the implementation of the Highland Strategy.
